How is my ID verified?

As part of the booking form, you will be asked to upload a picture or a scan of your valid ID (passport, national identity card). Our third-party provider, Shufti Pro (a digital identity verification application), to perform the identity check. You can use your EU Member State issued passport or national identity card as your identification document.


ShuftiPro lets you either upload a photo of your identification document or take a photo of your identification document with your computer camera. You'll be able to choose the method that works best for you.


Please note that the national identity card needs to be plastic cards to be recognized. This is a new method designed to reduce fraud; it is easy to use and – most importantly – fulfills all security standards.


The personal data being stored and processed for the purposes is necessary to verify your identification. Your data will be removed when the processing activity is completed. 


After submitting your booking form, within 5 minutes, the verification process will be completed. If your verification is unsuccessful, you will receive an email to attempt a second time. In case the verification failed the second time, our support team will review your case and reach out to you via email.
