From Germany to international cities

Germany has the largest passenger rail network in the European Union. As the country is situated in the center of Europe it is very easy to access it by railway.

The national rail operator is Deutsche Bahn (DB).

Berlin - Warsaw

The Eurocity from Berlin Ostbahnhfof will take you directly to Warszawa Centralna in 6h25.

Berlin - Prague

The Eurocity from Berlin Hbf (tief) will take you directly to Praha hl.n. in 4h27.

Munich - Budapest 

The Deutsche Bahn's RJX train can transport you directly from München Hbf to Budapest-Keleti in 6h49. You can take this train during the day and overnight.

Keep in mind that seat reservations for night trains are required. We advise you to reserve in advance.

Nuremberg - Brussels 

To travel to Brussels from Nuremberg you will need to take the ICE train from Nürnberg Hbf to Köln Hbf and there make a change to take the train to Brussels North station. The entire travel will take you approximately 7 hours.

Traveling to Germany

Berlin has been ultimately a very popular destination. 

  • In the Island Museum, you can find five different museums devoted to archeology and art that are surrounded by water. This complex is a Unesco World Heritage.
  • The Holocaust Memorial and the Brandenburg Gate are must-see sites. 
  •  Its street art characterizes also the city. 
  • The East Side Gallery is known as the largest open-air gallery in the world. You can discover many artworks and a stretch of the form Berlin Wall.

However, the country offers many other historic and beautiful cities to visit like Munich, Dresden, Hamburg or Nuremberg. If you like to bike or hike you can visit the Black  Forest and the nearby Lake Constance, and if you're fond of castles you will love the Lichtenstein Castel. These are only some of the places that you can visit, however, they are plenty of others that you can access by train easily.
